Taylor
Taylor is a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder. Taylor is completing the CESR certificate at Leeds, and has a strong passion for companies with a triple bottom line. She will be researching hotel sustainability examples, specifically regarding Hyatt. Learn how this chain effectively enacts socially responsible initiatives, what certifications they have that make them a green hotel, and how they are most efficient in corporate social responsibility.
Lisa
Lisa will graduate in the spring of 2015 with a dual degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Colorado Boulder. In this publication she will be discussing how hotels are becoming more like commodities. She will also illustrate how social responsibility adds value to all hotel chains. To simplify this point, Lisa will use Marriott as an example.
Sam
Sam is also a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder. His knowledge of the business world, and experience in the hospitality industry, gives him credibility regarding our subject matter. He will be discussing Hilton’s best practices, using real life examples. Also, he will show that consumers are increasingly seeking accommodations with companies that share their same values.
Julie
Julie is colleagues with all three of the other contributors. She is a senior at the University of Colorado at Boulder double majoring in Operation management and information management. She will be discussing smaller hotel chains and independent brands, to help explain how socially responsible initiatives can add value for all hotels. Julie loves to travel. She enjoys learning and reviewing hotels initiatives as a client. With a degree in management, she also understands company decisions from a stakeholder perspective as well.
